Discover the charm of a true traditional Portuguese house, tucked away in the quiet countryside of Olhão, right next to the Ria Formosa. Carefully renovated, this home has kept all its soul, character and original features: vintage azulejos, traditional volumes, old proportions and those little “imperfect” details that make Algarve houses so authentic.
A peaceful, bright place where you naturally slow down and enjoy the gentle pace of the Eastern Algarve, wilder and more preserved.

Here, as everywhere in the Algarve, life is mostly lived outdoors. Meals are shared under the pergola, days stretch out in the sun, and the flower-filled patio, with its fountain, becomes the real heart of the house. The perfect setting to gather with family or friends, far from mass tourism.

The property includes a main house that sleeps up to 4 guests, plus an independent studio for 2 guests, arranged around a large flower-filled patio with a fountain, shaded dining table and sun loungers.

The house is set in the countryside of Olhão, in a calm, natural setting, while still being just a few minutes from everyday amenities. A car is essential. The Ria Formosa is very close—perfect for walks, cycling and discovering its lagoons and wild islands.

Olhão (around 5 km away) is an authentic, lively town, famous for its iconic market, waterfront halls, local restaurants and boat access to the islands (Armona, Culatra, Farol). Supermarkets and larger shops are less than 10 minutes away by car, and a few typical local restaurants can even be reached on foot (often open at lunchtime).

Quick access to the N125 and the free A22 motorway makes it easy to explore the whole Algarve—especially the Eastern side, which feels more authentic and less crowded.
